BRE 600: Webinar – Two-stage SWS: Ammonia Purification

Upcoming Sessions

DatesLocation
9/15/2020 - 9/15/2020Online - - Europe

Two-stage sour water strippers produce separate hydrogen sulfide and ammonia streams. The ammonia stream often requires additional purification, typically accomplished by one or more wash columns, and the bottoms from the wash columns are recycled to the sour water stripping columns. The process is deceptively complex, as the operation of the ammonia purification wash columns is very tightly coupled with the operation of the sour water stripping columns. This webinar covers the steps needed to model the ammonia purification process, integrate it into an existing two-stage sour water stripper simulation, and optimize the coupled processes.

Access to ProMax is not needed for this webinar, which will take approximately 1.5 hours. The webinar is hosted over WebEx, and information on how to connect to the session will be provided after registration. For more information about a particular BRE 600: Webinar course please Contact Training.
