BRE 600: Webinar – Modelling Techniques for Packed Columns

This webinar covers the steps in modelling Mass + Heat Transfer columns in ProMax. Access to ProMax is not needed for this webinar, which will take approximately 1 hour. Agenda

Various calculation approaches are used for the design and optimization of separation processes. ProMax incorporates an Ideal Stage model as well as a Mass + Heat Transfer ('MHT') method. This webinar will compare the two methods for both trayed and packed columns. Emphasis is given to the MHT model which provides users with an easy-to-use approach to match plant data or come up with a more competitive design. Attendees will learn about the important aspects of the MHT method and how to use them properly.
