TSWEET® and PROSIM®, the predecessors of ProMax®, are renowned throughout the gas processing, refining and chemical industries for their accuracy, efficiency and ease-of-use. TSWEET has often been referred to as the industry standard for amine sweetening, sulfur recovery and tail gas cleanup modeling while PROSIM has been widely used for its multi-faceted general purpose simulation capabilities, including glycol dehydration. BR&E is proud of its rich history in process simulation and because of that we are committed to building upon that history and producing products that demonstrate our willingness to satisfy the needs of our clients.
In an effort to offer our clients the best of both TSWEET and PROSIM in one simulation package, ProMax was introduced in 2005. Please be assured that we have not abandoned the many years of research that we devoted to TSWEET and PROSIM. In fact, the same models that consistently yielded accurate and dependable results in TSWEET and PROSIM have been incorporated into ProMax. Not only have we transferred the basic concepts of TSWEET and PROSIM, we have also enhanced these models and provided other tools that make ProMax the most accurate, flexible and dependable simulation resource available in the marketplace today.
BR&E no longer supports TSWEET and PROSIM by providing new updates of this software. However, we will continue to support our clients who choose to continue using old versions of TSWEET and PROSIM by offering technical advice and answers to questions associated with this software.
