BR&E proudly announces the release of ProMax 3.2, available immediately as a download through our upgrade manager within ProMax. Upon opening ProMax, the upgrade manager should detect the update and prompt you to begin the installation.
This upgrade includes many new features, including:
- Support for Visio 2010
- User-defined physical property packages,
- A TBP curve crude oil library,
- New tray specifications and properties, such as jet flood, downcomer flood, and pressure drop.
- The ability to more closely specify sieve and round valve trays,
- Many new heat transfer fluids from the Duratherm, Paratherm, Therminol, Chemtherm, Chevron, UCON, Mobiltherm and Coastal HITEC families,
- User input reports through ProMax reports.
ProMax 3.2 also has made improvements from previous versions with regards to:
- DGA system predictions, specifically for CO2 in the treated gas,
- Materials of construction (now updated to the 2010 ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code),
- MTBE phase equilibrium predictions,
- "Wizards" added to our Scenario Tool.
